Chilhowie 14, George Wythe 3
Scott Pennington hit a first-inning two-run blast and Seth McKinney added three more hits as Chilhowie hammered the Maroons in the semifinals of the Hogoheegee tournament. Caleb Sheets added two hits in the win. Austin Pote didn’t strike out a batter, but did his damage from the plate, scoring three times off of three hits.
Chilhowie (13-9) plays Holston in Thursday’s title game
