SALTVILLE - Chilhowie senior Conner Hayden fired a 4-under-par 66 at Saltville Golf Course to win the Hogoheegee title for the second straight year.

Hayden edged runner-up Austin Robbins of Northwood by three strokes, but it wasn't enough to lift Chilhowie to the team title as Holston nipped the Warriors by a stroke with a 312 total.

Both teams advanced to next week's Region C tournament in Hot Springs.

Robbins qualified for the regional as an individual along with Northwood teammates Justin Moore and Chaz Jones, George Wythe's Graham Dillon and Cody Branthoover and Rural Retreat's Peyton Brewer.

Jones earned his spot by defeated Rural Retreat's Andy Robinson in a one-hole playoff.
