Galax edges Maroons in semifinal bout |

BUENA VISTA -- Jose Martinez scored off of a Juan Carlos assist in the 47th minute to lead the Maroon Tide over the Maroons in the regional semifinals.
Galax (14-5-1) clinched a spot in next week's Group A quarterfinals and will play in today's Region C title game.
Bryan Cantrell made six saves for Galax, which went 1-1-1 this year against George Wythe.
Woody Wilder made six saves for the Maroons (14-3-1). |
